Jeff Iorillo is a Los Angeles painter working with mass, momentum, and gesture. Inspired by Action Painting in his technique and endlessly fascinated by the possibilities presented by paint itself, Jeff works flat on tabletop pouring, puddling, pushing, dragging and scraping with a variety of tools. Some pieces are embellished or emphasized with line work in charcoal and graphite, always with an eye for impact, velocity and composition to create a presence of substance and drama.
